“How lovely is your dwelling place, O LORD Almighty! My soul yearns, even
faints, for the courts of the LORD; my heart and my flesh cry out for the living God” (Psalm 84:1-2).
“One thing I ask of the LORD, this is what I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to gaze upon the beauty of the LORD and to seek him in his temple” (Psalm 27:4).
“Lord, you have been our dwelling place throughout all generations. Before the mountains
were born or you brought forth the earth and the world, from everlasting to everlasting you are God” (Psalm 90:1-2).
“Surely goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever” (Psalm 23:6).
“No longer will there be any curse. The throne of God and of
the Lamb will be in the city, and his servants will serve him. They will see
his face, and his name will be on their foreheads. There will be no more night.
They will not need the light of a lamp or the light of the sun, for the Lord
God will give them light. And they will reign for ever and ever” (Rev. 22:3-5).
The dwelling place of the Lord is lovely, desired, and
everlasting.
The years fly by. Daily we are closer to being with Him
forever. It is the blessed hope, the glad anticipation.
