Ministry Update, July 2022
Jim Wilson passed into glory on the evening of Wednesday, May 25. Thank you to those who have let the Wilson family and the staff of CCM know you are praying for us. While we miss Jim very much, we also rejoice at his passing into the presence of the Savior he has loved so much for the last 74 years.

Here are a few words from his son Doug:

“My father was born October 6, 1927, and he entered into glory last night, May 25, 2022. As we remember his life and legacy in the days to come, I will obviously have more to say, but I wanted to register one central thing at the outset. I wanted to thank God for giving me a father who was so manifestly present in my life, for as long as I can remember. Whatever, whenever, he was there. He was constantly there, and in his manner of being there, he was constant. Always steady, always reliable, always responsible. Constant. And I find that he was present in such a way as to remain present with us even after being gathered to his people.”

You can view Jim’s memorial service here: http://jimwilsonmemorial.com/. The service starts at 1:11:00, with a hymn sing before it.
Jim and the Wilson family request that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to our Literature Fund or the Jim Wilson Literature Legacy fund. Donations can be made by check to CCM, P.O. Box 9754, Moscow, ID 83843 or through this website. Both funds will be used to put Jim’s unfinished works into print over the next few years and to continue his ministry of giving away books.

I will leave you with a few of Jim’s favorite verses:

“Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus” (1 Thess. 5:16-18).

“Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus” (Phil. 4:4-7).

With love in Christ and much gratitude for your faithful prayers and support,

Lisa Just
